Hi I’m Karen. My relationship with my mental health started when I was a teenager but I didn’t realise this until much later in life.
In my 30‘s I hit some dark times which meant also facing into my past as a teenager. Since then my mental health journey has taken me along many different paths.
I’ve struggled personally over the years with stress, depression, anxiety and panic attacks but I’ve also supported family and friends with their own challenges.
At work I’m a Mental Health Advocate, having previously trained as a Mental Health First Aider with Mental Health First Aid England. I’ve also been a long term wellbeing ambassador in my workplace for colleagues with visible and non visible disabilities.
